قال رسول الله صلى اله عليه وسلم
إنَّ الرجل لترفع درجته في الجنة فيقول: أنى هذا ؟ فيقال :
باستغفار ولدك لك

سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”بلاشبہ ایک آدمی کا جنت میں درجہ بلند کیا جاتا ہے، وہ کہتا ہے، یہ مجھے کیسے مل گیا؟ (‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏جواباً) کہا جاتا ہے: تیرے بچے کا تیرے حق میں استغفار کرنے کی وجہ سے۔“
