A local client wanted energy savings so this was the solution. Replaced the old Air con unit with a new Actron DC inverter unit. As well as installing a smaller unit for the bedroom. Replaced 24 Halogen downlights( 55 watts each equaling 1,320 Watts) with LED downlights (9 Watts each totalling 216 Watts ). Combine this with a new Hybrid Solar/inverter/battery back up system installed by Dave Boyle from Solar South and this very happy customer shouldn’t see bills for a long time. 👍🏼

It’s pretty damn HOT ! Beat the heat with Actron Air conditioners. Stylish but simple and everyone I have installed one for loves them. In most cases for less than $2k I can fully install a 7.1 kw reverse cycle unit with a 5 year warranty. Stay cool and safe . Feel free to share post. Cheers Adrian 👍🏼

This Sunday, 7 October, don't forget to replace your smoke alarm batteries when you move your clocks forward for daylight savings.

Remember: non-alkaline batteries cannot be placed in kerbside bins, but they can be recycled at any council office, library and several community centres.

Danger. Went to a good clients house this morning. He had another tradie in the roof and he spotted this one. Worst lights ever invented. Halogen downlights reach a temperature in excess of 300 degrees. How this didn't start a fire, i dont know. Happy to say all downlights are now LED and two new smoke alarms installed. LED downlights are super safe unbeleivably efficient and throw out more light. Please feel free to share. I'd hate anyone to lose a house from a fire caused by these fittings.
