ALDI takes product safety seriously and due to a low number of returns, we wish to remind customers of an active recall of the Workzone Double USB Powerpoint, which was sold at ALDI Stores from 27 May 2023 to 4 August 2023.

Defect: The powerpoint does not comply with the relevant electrical safety standards due to unreliable contacts in the powerpoint.

If you have not already, customers should immediately stop use and return the product to your nearest ALDI store for a full cash refund. If the powerpoint has already been installed, use the dedicated webform link to arrange for a free replacement installed by a licenced electrician. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Did you hear the news? Several councils have partnered with Green Industries SA to offer a FREE embedded battery recycling event to all South Australian residents.

The event will run on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November, from 9 am to 3 pm.

There will be 4 sites open across metropolitan Adelaide, with all sites open to all South Australian residents.

These sites WILL NOT be accessible before or after this event to dispose of embedded batteries. Please do not bring any embedded battery products before Saturday 23 November or after Sunday 24 November, as there will not be any collection or storage before or after this weekend event.
