This is just a relief tool and compaction builds without us noticing.

Some of my favourites snaps from the last 2 years at Salisbury BC.
Time for that chapter of Maximum Turf Care to close now and on to great new things at Port Noarlunga BC.
It will be nice to be close to home!
A huge thankyou to Geoff Nethercott and Greg Drummond for all the support and help on the greens and to the amazing volunteers that work tirelessly on a Monday and beyond!

Also a big mention to Nigel and his crew at D&D Curators, the greens at Porties look great and I’d like to congratulate you on what you’ve achieved over the past 10 years and also for the professional changeover.

Big things about to happen, coming back to the south of Adelaide and hopefully a presence back on social media after a challenging schedule the last 12 months!

Well, winter is nearly over and with that, my phone starts melting 🤪🤣
Unfortunately if you haven’t booked your RENO by now, the first week in November is where we are up to.

Coring starts this week and I have some spots free on my allotted coring days in September and October and on a few Sundays.
Be quick to make sure you don’t miss out 🏃‍♂️

With the new financial year upon us, it’s time to open up bookings for Spring!
Hopefully a return to a normal spring is on the cards 🌱☀️💦

A few things 👇

As most of you know I’m a full time Greenkeeper by trade, early starts getting bowling greens ready and then off to the residential jobs.
- I cover all parts of Adelaide

- By arranging (with some notice) I can go anywhere in regional areas. Often frequenting the Yorke Peninsula.

- We do run a somewhat, floating bookings system (mainly due to unpredictable weather in spring)

- For returning clients, please check in even if you have made your yearly booking already :)

Autumn Coring, Fertilising and Pre emergent bookings
🍂🌱

This season we’ve seen some strange weather, with more to come next spring ☔️🌧️ now might be your best chance before the potentially long winter/spring coming.

Autumn is a great time to get your lawn cored, with many benefits leading into winter.

- You may be struggling with patchy turf after recent hot weather
- Water has stopped penetrating your hydrophobic soil
- You’re looking to help with a future drainage issue
- You’d just like to maintain a healthy soil and root structure by adding air!

Pre Emergent Herbicides 🌱

- Stop winter grass the most efficient way, before you see them pop up, saving hundreds on herbicides to eradicate what will be a huge problem if we have an extended winter.
* Barricade is my choice, coupled with a quality soil penetrant.

Autumn Fertiliser 🌱

My go to Fertiliser this time of the season must have a lower nitrogen and a higher potassium %
Potassium is a strong component of turf health, giving your lawn the best chance to fight off disease, pests and stress.
