This season, the teams have hit the stage every homeowner recognises: choosing the pool. Size, shape, finish, and where it sits in the yard. It is the decision that shapes everything built around it.

The question we get asked more than any other is whether a pool will actually fit. The range is why the answer is usually yes.

Plungie Quad, 2.2m x 2.2m. The one that fits where people assume nothing will.
Plungie Studio, 3.6m x 2.2m. Suits a courtyard or a narrow side return.
Plungie Arena, 3.5m round. A different shape entirely, and it changes how a small yard reads.
Plungie Original, 4.6m x 2.5m. The middle ground between a plunge and something you can swim laps in.
Plungie Max, 6m x 3m. Room to properly swim.

Each one arrives as a single piece of precast concrete and goes in on a single lift. Which means a speedy finish from construction to swimming in your new Plungie pool.

We do the entire job in-house: pool, landscape, paving, decking, fencing, the lot, with one team from the first drawing to the last plant. You are not managing five trades and hoping they talk to each other.

This one in Yarraville is a classic terrace block. Long, narrow, barely ten metres wide.

Most people are told a block like this can fit a pool or a usable yard, but not both.

The family opted for a Plungie Max, precast and dropped in finished. Something built for the kids to use for years to come.

They went with a Perle Noir finish, a deep, dark interior that gives the water a calm, reflective look and sits beautifully against the Travertine edge. The landscape was built to match, with still plenty of room for the family.

Not every block is flat. Not every backyard plays by the rules.

That's exactly why semi-recessed is one of our most popular install options. Part of the pool sits above ground, which means less excavation, minimal disruption, and the ability to work with sloping or uneven sites that would stop a traditional pool build in its tracks.

But it's not just practical. Done right, a semi-recessed Plungie Australia pool becomes the centrepiece of the whole outdoor space. built-in bench seating around the edge, timber or rendered cladding on the exterior, elevation changes that actually add to the design rather than fight against it.
