Bit of a frustrating update from us at Lightech ⚡️

Like many in the industry, we’ve just been hit with another round of supplier price increases — some pretty significant — driven by ongoing issues in the Middle East and rising material, freight, and fuel costs.

We know this isn’t great news for anyone. The last thing we want is to pass on increases, but unfortunately it’s out of our control and affecting the entire electrical industry right now.

What this means:
👉 Prices on materials like conduit, fittings, and pipe are going up
👉 If you’ve been thinking about getting work done, sooner is better than later

We’ll always do our best to keep pricing fair, be transparent, and help you get the best outcome for your budget.

💧✨ Shout out to great local tradies!✨💧

Be safe everyone

We all should be prepared for severe weather at any time. But, when there is talk of a cyclone in our waters, it’s a good reminder to take steps now to Get Ready.

✅ Secure loose items around the home.
✅ Know where and how to turn off the main supply for water, power, gas, and solar panels and batteries in case you need to.
✅ Fuel up your car in case you need to evacuate.
✅ Secure caravans and boats.
✅ Identify the safest room in your home where you can shelter if needed.
✅ Make arrangements to keep pets and/or livestock safe.
