✅ Machinery tickets = big bonus points (or at least willing to learn without rolling the excavator into a fence)

About the Role:

What We’re Looking For:

✔️ Minimum 5 years of concreting experience
✔️ Ability to prep, pour, and finish concrete to a high standard
✔️ Strong knowledge of formwork, steel fixing, and site preparation
✔️ MR truck licence required
✔️ Machine operation experience (excavators, bobcats, etc.) is an advantage
✔️ White Card

• Perform manual labour tasks such as wheelbarrowing, raking dirt and crushed rock
• Assist in various earthmoving and concreting projects
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s licence
• Physically fit for heavy labour (wheelbarrowing, lifting, raking)
• Reliable, honest, and keen to work hard
• Ability to work 40 hours per week (hours may vary based on weather conditions)

If you have been to Avalon Nursery recently you would have noticed that the driveway was in need of some love!

The entrance and exit were both covered in a number of large potholes, off camber areas and worn in wheel tracks.

We got stuck in to a quick fix for them, ripping, re-grading, re-sheeting and a rolling for compaction is just what it needed!

These driveways see an enormous amount of traffic in comparison to a domestic driveway so no doubt it will require ongoing maintaince to keep it in tip top shape.
