Dropped in to check on one of our completed projects and it reminded us exactly why we love what we do.

There’s something special about seeing a home a few years on — still looking sharp, still standing proud, and still being genuinely loved by the people living in it.

Today we say goodbye (for now) to one of the good ones.

Bryn has just completed his 4-year apprenticeship with us — and what a journey it’s been. It’s been a pleasure watching him grow into a capable, reliable, and all-round top bloke of a tradesman.

He’s now heading off overseas with his partner to explore the world — and while we’ll definitely miss having him around, we’re stoked to see him take this next step.

Most of my posts are about the jobs — the kitchens, the bathrooms, the before-and-afters — but I thought it was time to share a little more about the person behind the tools.

I’m Justin — a builder with over 30 years of hands-on experience, a father of two boys I’m incredibly proud of, and someone who’d much rather be on-site creating something beautiful than on Instagram talking about it.

I put a lot of time into my boys, not just for now — but so when they’re older, we’ve built something stronger than just memories. It’s about the long game, just like building a home that lasts.

I’m lucky to have an amazing partner by my side — not just in life but in work too. Her knowledge of interior design brings a whole other layer to what we do. Together, we don’t just build — we design, refine, and help bring people’s visions to life.

This page might be filled with photos of bricks, timber and tile — but now you know a bit more about the hands (and heart) behind it.
