Battery prep underway in Glenning Valley.

Hamish was on the tools getting the slab ready for another Sigenergy SigenStor battery installation at this beautiful Glenning Valley property.
This one will include a 32kWh battery system installed at the back of the garage, with another 10kW of solar going on the roof to match the existing 10kW already installed.

The system will also include a 12kW single phase controller, helping tie the solar and battery setup together so the home can make better use of its energy throughout the day and into the evening.

A good battery install starts well before the unit goes on the wall. Placement, access, clearances, slab preparation, cable routes, and the existing solar setup all need to be considered so the finished system is practical, compliant, and built for long-term use.

We recently installed this Ocular home EV charger, giving the homeowner a dedicated, convenient charging setup right where they need it.

This GWM EV charger was installed to give the homeowner a dedicated and convenient charging point at home, with the cable neatly stored and the unit positioned for easy everyday use.

The switchboard photo is included because it shows an important part of the job that often sits behind the scenes. A proper EV charger install is not just about mounting the charger on the wall. The little details matter.

When attaching an exterior light to a corrugated surface, it is not always as simple as fixing it straight to the wall.

For this install, we added a backing plate behind the light fitting to create a neat, secure, and level mounting point on the corrugated cladding. It gives the fitting a better surface to sit against and helps achieve a cleaner finished look.
It is a small detail, but it makes a big difference to the end result.

Solar and serious battery storage in Bateau Bay.

Another great Central Coast install, this time in Bateau Bay with a 14.21kW solar system paired with 48.36kWh of Sigenergy SigenStor battery storage.

On the roof, we installed 29 x 490W AIKO Solar Neostar panels across northeast and southwest roof areas. This helps the system capture solar across different parts of the day, rather than relying on one roof face only.

The 48.36kWh battery setup gives the home a strong storage foundation, helping them make better use of their solar energy beyond daylight hours.

You might also notice the edge protection in the photos. That is an important part of working safely on roof installations, especially on multi-level or steeper sites. A clean finished solar install starts with safe, well-planned work from the ground up.

A beautiful spot, a tidy install, and a smart long-term energy setup for this Bateau Bay home.
