Cavity sliders… Aren’t they a hoot! 🦉

Sometimes the customer wants what they want… at all costs! 😅

We love finding a way to bring our customers’ vision to life, and we’re always looking for ways to improve our installs.

So, sparkies and chippies — what are you doing to keep cavity slider installations neat, practical and effective? We’d love to see how others are tackling them! 👇⚡️

WE’RE GROWING! ⚡️

Say g’day to the newest member of the Elite-Elec Co crew, Brenden Younghusband 👋

Brenden brings 10+ years of electrical experience and has pretty much seen it all when it comes to residential electrical work—from new homes and renovations to maintenance, fault finding and everything in between.

He’s a ripper bloke, takes pride in his work, and fits right into the culture we’re building here at Elite-Elec Co.

If you see him out on site, be sure to say hello! Welcome aboard, Youngy! 🔥

Turns out being an electrician isn’t always standing in front of a switchboard. Sometimes it’s squeezing through a crawl space in a 100-year-old heritage home while everyone else enjoys the sunshine.

Lucky Brenden Younghusband has his 3DPRO Melbourne collapsible bucket to cart all his tools around. 😂

Maybe it’s time to find an apprentice… If you can fit in here… you might just be our next hire. 😂

Tag someone who’s built for the job… or at least small enough to fit! 🥴

⚡ Out with the old, in with the new.

A recent job took us into the roof space of a beautiful old building, removing ageing cotton-insulated wiring and replacing it with new compliant cabling ready for a new light and 3-in-1 bathroom unit.

It’s the sort of work you never see above the ceiling, but it’s what makes the installation safe, reliable, and built to last.

At Elite-Elec Co, we don’t just install new fittings—we make sure the wiring behind them is up to the same standard.

🧐 What do you think of our newest apprentice?

We’ve been flat out lately, so it’s been nice to slow down and spend some quality family time together… and even better when there’s an extra set of hands on site (although the productivity is still up for debate 😂).

Safe to say our little apprentice is already taking a keen interest in the trade! 🛠️⚡

🎥 POV brought to you by the Meta Glasses 😎⚡

We’ve been out in Lauriston installing over 200 metres of underground electrical infrastructure for a vineyard and new shed project.

Our underground works included:

✅ House to shed power supply
✅ Shed to tank supply
✅ Tank to pump & filtration system

A lot of planning, trenching, cable installation, and attention to detail goes into underground electrical work. It’s not the most glamorous part of the job, but it’s the foundation of a reliable electrical system for years to come.

It’s always a shame having to cover up all that hard work once the trenches are backfilled!

If you’re planning a new shed, pump system, vineyard, or rural property upgrade, we’d be happy to help.
