Callide Valley Electrics is a well-established electrical contracting business with approx. 40 years of operation, dedicated to delivering high-quality workmanship and reliable service to our customers.

With continued growth across the Banana Shire, including business activity and industrial development, we are seeking a qualified electrician to join our small dedicated team and help meet increasing demand.

We specialise in a range of domestic, commercial and rural electrical installations and have a strong, long-standing customer base.

Key Responsibilities
• Installation, maintenance and fault-finding across domestic, commercial and rural sites
• Delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service
• Working independently and collaboratively within a small team
• Managing jobs efficiently and professionally including fulfilling safety & compliance requirements
• Occasional after-hours or on-call work, as required

About You
• Hold a current unrestricted Electrical Licence (Electrical fitter mechanic)
• Hold a current Manual Driver’s Licence
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage time effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of team, including mentorship of apprentices
• Professional presentation and strong communication skills
• Experience and certification in solar and split system installations is advantageous but not essential

🚨 Important Update – Busy Season Ahead!

As we head into the busy summer months, storm season and the lead-up to Christmas, we would like to inform our valued clients that our workload is increasing significantly.
To best serve our community, we’ll be prioritising:

✅ Existing works on our schedule
✅ Water pumps, urgent farming and irrigation needs
✅ General maintenance & urgent works
✅ Air conditioning repairs

Due to significantly high demand, there will be longer wait times, and we will have limited capacity for new quotes and non-urgent work during this time.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work hard and safely to support local homes, farms, and businesses during this peak season. Matthew and Claire Beahan have serviced the region for over 40+ years, it has been a lifelong commitment to people, quality work and mentorship, with countless apprentices trained under Matt’s and Claire’s leadership.

Matthew and Claire are stepping into a well deserved new phase of life. 🏖️
