Repainting a roof at the right time is critical to avoid a very costly replacment.
Harsh marine inviroments can take a heavy toll on metals. This roof is only a few years old but the owner wants a protective coating put on prior to solar. WISE MOVE...
So its a spot prime all the screw heads followed by a solid full prime in PPG MARINE Zinc Phosphate, then 2 coats of All weather to finish it off.! Watch this space.
Now if God will turn the fan off for a couple days please.

Filling in a couple days at Kemmis Creek station while we are getting new ceilings in at Suttor Creek.
Proper preparation prevents p**s poor paintjobs !! This is what prep looks like. Skinned knuckles, swearing and sweat. If your painter isnt in this catagory....sack him.

SUTTOR CREEK.
Pretty rare we impress ourselves but..Those who know the old place know it needed a whole lot of TLC, elbow Grease and a whole new attitude.....
Well here it is. All pretty and ready for the next 100 years. Thanks Lyle Gillham for for the opportunity to recreate the place. And for putting up with us...haha.
Now for the internal makeover....
