The show is held twice a year, once in February and the other in September/October. The show has been held since 1947, show casing all the lovely flowers grown in the North East as well as the talented exhibitors with their art and crafts. The show caters for all, the enthusiastic gardener, photographers, cooks, crafters and artists and for the children, a large sections covering everything from f
lower displays, floral art, drawing, painting and cooking. What is entered is judged but occasionally in the Art and Craft section, this can sometimes be as a display or art and craft items judged by viewer's choice. This show will be held on the14th of February displaying Gladiolus, Dahlias, Floral Art, Other Cut Flowers, Preserves, Vegetables, Photography, Scrap booking and Cooking and of course the Children Section. This show's Art and Craft section will be Home made shopping bag and small Quilted Article. For Viewers, there will be a display of Interesting Tea Towels where the viewer can decide the most interesting. Schedules will be available soon. You can browse at the trade table, buy a ticket in the various raffles which are run on the day and light refreshments will be available in the supper room throughout the day. Admission is $2.00 and the judging will be held at 10.30am. Presentation of trophies will be held at 2.00pm. Come along and check out the best blooms in the North East and enjoy time in the country.
