A recent servicing day in Moorooka had us looking after 2 ducted systems and 4 split systems at the one property.

Six systems might sound like a lot of aircon (and to be fair... it is 😅), but keeping them maintained means they're ready to do their job when Brisbane decides winter is over and turns the heat back on.

A proper service is more than just giving the filters a quick wash. We check the operation of the systems, drains, filters and general condition so any developing issues can be picked up before they turn into a breakdown.

🐍 Well... that's not a fault code we were expecting!

We were called out to a ducted air conditioning breakdown and found this little bloke had already made himself comfortable inside the outdoor unit. Safe to say he wasn't listed in the wiring diagram... 😅

It's a good reminder that outdoor units can become home to all sorts of unexpected visitors, especially over winter. If your system isn't working or is making unusual noises, please don't go poking around inside it yourself.

Leave it switched off and give the professionals a call. Thankfully, everyone (including our unexpected guest) stayed safe, and we were able to continue diagnosing the system.

The boys were out this week servicing a ducted system that had seen better days. The drain was badly blocked and the pressure had caused one of the elbows to blow right out.
