The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, severe thunderstorms were detected on the weather radar near Redcliffe and Beachmere. These thunderstorms are moving towards the west. They are forecast to affect Strathpine, Caboolture and Burpengary Brisbane CBD, Dayboro and Wamuran by 7:45 am. Intense rainfall that may lead to dangerous and life-threatening flash flooding and damaging winds are likely.
