Footy season, that’s a wrap.

So proud of the Under 13 Burleigh Bears for their effort in yesterday’s grand final. It didn’t go our way, but a 24-22 scoreline made for a gripping game right to the end.

Congratulations to Mudgeeraba on the win - well deserved 👏

We're still on a high after taking home two awards at the 2026 Gold Coast Housing & Construction Awards on Friday night.

Steve was awarded the Xact Accounting Rising Star Award, which recognises emerging builders who are making an impact through quality workmanship, strong client relationships, and commitment to their team and business. In Master Builders' own words, the judging panel were "astounded by the project delivery, planning and ex*****on in the work of Steven Mcintyre from Dellwood Constructions".

And Project Songbird won Home Renovation Project from $350,000 up to $500,000.

Starting out as a formwork carpenter, hard work is in Steve’s DNA. Progressing through to foreman and site manager working in the commercial sector, he has worked on some of the most iconic and well-known projects on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane.

He not only holds an Open Builders Licence but is also qualified in Project Management. Meeting Steve onsite, the judges were astounded by his project delivery, planning and overall ex*****on, making him an asset to our industry.

The stacker doors are in, opening the living space straight out to the pool. With the outdoor pillar gone, the flow between inside and out is exactly what this home was always meant to feel like.

The curved walls and fireplace are taking shape too, softening every line and bringing a warmth to the space that’s hard to put into words.

Steve’s parents were among the first businesses in Grafton to introduce Funky Shirt Fridays. It was something his dad was so proud of — backing a movement that mattered, and making sure his team knew it was okay to talk.
