Two finalist nominations. One very proud local team.

We’ve just come home from the Hotondo Homes national conference in Canberra, where we were named a finalist for:
✨National Shopfront of the Year
✨QLD Professional Builder of the Year

We didn’t take home the win, but being recognised alongside builders of this calibre is a huge honour.

Our director Adam was also invited to speak on a panel during the conference, sharing his experience with builders from across the country. We couldn’t be prouder.

Hotondo Homes is a network of family-run franchises, so the conference is family-friendly too. More than 40 kids came along this year! We heard from inspiring speakers Michael McQueen, Dean Boxall, Clint Bizzell and Tim Reardon, and Andrew Klein hosted for the 19th year running.

The highlights were the gala dinner at the National Arboretum and our final night dress-up at Old Parliament House, themed “what I wanted to be when I grew up”. We also took the kids to Parliament House and the Australian War Memorial, which was an amazing experience for all of us.

Catching up with our national suppliers and friends from across the country was the perfect reminder of why we love what we do. We’re back home feeling energised and can’t wait to keep building great homes for families
