๐ฟ Nature's Giant is Blooming in Cairns! ๐ฟ
Currently on display at the Cairns Botanic Gardens is the incredible Titan Arum (Amorphophallus titanum), also known as the famous "Co**se Flower."
Native to the rainforests of Sumatra, Indonesia, this rare and endangered plant is one of the largest flowering structures in the world. What makes it even more remarkable is its unusual scent, often compared to rotting flesh, which attracts its natural pollinators such as carrion beetles and flesh flies.
A Titan Arum can take up to 10 years to produce a bloom, and when it finally does, the spectacle lasts for only 24 to 36 hours before collapsing.
If you're a plant lover or simply curious to witness one of nature's most extraordinary flowering events, now is the perfect time to visit the Cairns Botanic Gardens before this rare bloom disappears.
