We're officially a Master Builders Association ACT Asset Construction Hire Awards finalist for 2026 🎉

Shaw Building Group is excited to share our ANU National Computational Infrastructure Stage 2 Energy Centre project has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Project Displaying Technical Difficulty or Innovation - Contractor Category of this year's awards set to take place on 11 September.

We're thrilled to see this highly technical project being recognised among the best across Canberra, and look forward to celebrating another great year across the industry later this year.

$115k Raised for Carers ACT! 🥰🎗️💰

On Friday the 13th of March, our team and industry partners donned our scariest outfits for a good cause at the 21st annual edition of our Carers ACT Charity Bowls Day – with almost $115,000 raised.

These much-needed funds will go straight into supporting the wonderful work Carers ACT does supporting unpaid carers in the ACT.

We'd like to thank all of our attendees and partners who made a donation to the cause – your contributions will make a tangible difference to these selfless members of our community.

For the 21st year, we'll be coming together with our team and industry partners to raise much-needed funds for the wonderful work that Carers ACT does to support unpaid carers within our community.

It was a big week at our Googong Hotel project last week, with the Level 1 slab pour completed!

This is a huge milestone in construction of the project, with the second storey precast concrete panels, structural steel and plantroom slab of the precinct now able to get underway.

We're honoured to have our Lunetta Restaurant Fit-Out project nominated for a national award at the Master Builders Australia National Excellence in Building & Construction Awards taking place this Friday 🏆

The project is nominated as the ACT finalist in the National Fit-Out Award - Under $5m category, with winners set to be announced at a special ceremony in Adelaide this Friday 28 November.

Wishing all the other finalists the best of luck, and special thanks to everyone involved in this project which continues to be recognised for its excellence!
