🛠️ The Details Matter: Fixing a Faulty Toilet Install
When it comes to plumbing, taking shortcuts always leads to trouble down the track.
We were recently called out to inspect a toilet installation that wasn’t quite right. Upon closer inspection, we found two major installation issues:
Flush pipe cut short: The original installer cut the flush pipe too short, preventing a proper seal and causing active leaks behind the pan.
Insecure wall mounting: The cistern was held to the wall by only one screw, leaving it loose and unstable.
How We Fixed It
📏 New Pipe Cut to Size: Replaced the short pipe with a new flush pipe precision-cut to the correct length for a completely watertight seal.
🔩 Secured properly: Correctly anchored and screwed the cistern firmly to the wall on both sides so it’s completely stable.
No more leaks, no more wobbly cisterns—just a job done right the first time!
