🏆 WE WON… AND I’M STILL SPEECHLESS. 😍

Last night was one of those moments where you stop, look around and think… wow, look how far we’ve come.

We attended the Bunbury Geographe Business Excellence Awards with two businesses we started and have poured our hearts into — and we came home with a trolley full of awards.

Four awards. Two businesses. One very proud couple.

When we started this journey, we didn’t come into business with years of business experience behind us. We were learning as we went.

We made mistakes. We asked questions. We listened. We invested in ourselves. We leaned on mentors, surrounded ourselves with good people and relied heavily on our incredible RAS family to help us navigate a world that was completely new to us.

And slowly, step by step, we built something.

What makes these awards even more meaningful is knowing that they aren’t just recognition of a business — they represent the people, the late nights, the risks, the lessons, the setbacks and the determination behind it.

I couldn’t be prouder of what we have created.

Partners in Safety started with a vision to bring safety back to our community and create something that genuinely adds value.

Collie Auto-Tech has continued to grow, evolve and push forward while staying true to what matters — our people, our customers and our community.

But we haven’t done this alone.

To our incredible staff — thank you. You are the reason these businesses continue to move forward. Your commitment, hard work and belief in what we’re building means more than you probably realise.

To every client and customer who has chosen to support us — thank you for trusting us, backing local and giving us the opportunity to grow.

To our mentors, our RAS family and everyone who has shared their knowledge with us — thank you for helping us become better business owners and better leaders.

And to our community — thank you for believing in us.

Last night wasn’t just about winning awards.

For me, it was a moment to reflect on just how far we’ve come.

We started with an idea.
We backed ourselves.
We surrounded ourselves with the right people.
And together, we’ve built something we’re incredibly proud of.

Four awards later… I think it’s safe to say we’re only getting started. ❤️

What a night. What a journey. What an incredible feeling.

I was incredibly proud and honoured to wake up to an email this morning that simply said:

To be recognised by a member of our local community, and for someone to take the time to nominate our business, is absolutely mind-blowing.

When I started Partners in Safety, my goal was simple – to make a genuine difference by improving safety, supporting local businesses, and adding value to Collie and the wider region. To know that someone has recognised that impact means more than I can put into words.

A heartfelt thank you to William Sloan for your confidence in our business and for this incredible nomination. Your support is truly appreciated.

A huge thank you to the Rotary Club of Collie for choosing Partners in Safety to prepare the Sierra Sherpa lined jackets for tomorrow night’s Homeless for the Night Sleep Out. 💙

We’re proud to support an initiative that makes a real difference in our community, and we’re sure these jackets will help keep participants warm on what promises to be a very cold night.

There’s still time to get involved!

Whether you attend or donate, every dollar raised stays local and helps support people experiencing homelessness in the Collie region.
