That's why we were honoured to attend the 2026 NAWIC NT Awards for Excellence, an evening dedicated to celebrating the achievements of women in construction and the people and organisations helping drive positive change across our industry.

As a proud sponsor of the Male Allyship Award, we were honoured to recognise those who support equality, create pathways for women and foster more inclusive workplaces.

Congratulations to Nick Collins from Laing O'Rourke on receiving this year's Male Allyship Award. We'd also like to congratulate fellow finalists John Pattemore and Peter Pattemore on their well-deserved nominations.

We're Hiring: Heavy Diesel Fitter

Dolan Civil is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our team, supporting pipeline and civil construction projects across the Northern Territory.

This is a Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) position from Darwin, with a fully equipped service vehicle provided.

Successful applicants will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy civil construction plant, earthmoving equipment, trucks and associated machinery.

What We're Looking For
✔ Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter
✔ Experience maintaining and repairing civil construction, earthmoving or pipeline equipment
✔ Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
✔ Ability to work independently in remote locations
✔ Current driver's licence
✔ Commitment to safety, quality workmanship

What a fantastic Saturday afternoon spent with our team, partners and families enjoying a bit of friendly competition and great company. From some surprisingly accurate bowls to a few that had minds of their own, there was no shortage of entertainment. 🙂

We're incredibly fortunate to have such a hardworking group and a culture that values both teamwork and having a bit of fun along the way

🚛 The newest addition to our fleet has just rolled into town... VAC05!

A huge thank you to our partners at VTI — Matt, Ned, Jayden and the team for their ongoing support, another quality build.

As with all our vacuum excavation trucks, this unit comes equipped with our usual specification:

✅ 10,000L spoil capacity
✅ 4,000L water capacity
✅ 2,500 CFM blower
✅ 6" boom assembly with suction hose

These trucks are constantly evolving, and some of the latest upgrades include:

🔹 Vibrating tank for handling stubborn spoil
🔹 Visual tank capacity indicator for improved operator awareness
🔹 60m fixed jetter reel for drain cleaning applications
