Leucaena on the menu 🍽️

A few different angles of the 200HP Lamtrac with belt driven disc mulcher and plenty of leucaena to keep it busy.

Consistent cut and working through the rows at up to 6km/h. Ideal for getting through some serious kilometres of leucaena efficiently 👌🏼

These are just some of the fire warnings we’ve seen across SE QLD in the last 24 hours 🫨

It feels early, but the conditions are already showing us what this fire season could look like.

If your property needs firebreaks, access tracks or vegetation density reduced, now is the time to get onto it, not when there’s already smoke in the air.

Clean up what you can, check your access, have a plan and know what you’re going to do if a fire heads your way.
Stay safe out there, and as always, thank you to our friends the firies already on the ground dealing with it 🚒🔥

Exactly what we want to see 🌱🐂

We cut this Leucaena a couple of months ago and it’s already putting on fresh regrowth with no rain in between - robust plant!

The goal with trimming isn’t to remove the Leucaena, it’s to bring it back down to a manageable grazing height so cattle can actually get to the feed.

Once cut, it shoots again from lower down, putting the fresh growth within reach rather than carrying it metres above them.

We’re back at the property doing some more paddock work this week and thought this was a pretty good example of how it comes back after a cut 🤙🏼

Cut it low, bring it back to grazing height and let it go again 🍽

🦾 ⛰️ Our Mecalac has been tackling vegetation along steep roadside banks to improve visibility and open up access for ongoing spraying and maintenance.

With its articulated boom, 360° rotator and dedicated hydraulics for the forestry mulching head, the Mecalac can reach up, down and around obstacles to tackle vegetation in awkward spots well beyond the footprint of the machine.

With travel speeds of up to 10km/h, it’s also built to keep moving, a big advantage when the job stretches for kilometres.

Big reach, small footprint, very handy bit of gear 🤙🏼

🔊 VOLUME UP, HEAR THE DIFFERENCE

Not all machines are the same, and bluntly, you get what you pay for.

Our 200HP Lamtrac 6160T is a dedicated forestry mulcher, paired with our range of Diamond Mulchers and tuned to make full use of its 6,000 PSI hydraulic power.

The result? More power, more productivity, more ground covered.

When you're paying by the day, capability matters.

Need room to kick the footy or finally get that chicken coop? 🏈🐓

It isn’t always about clearing vegetation, sometimes it’s about creating possibilities.

More room for the kids.
More usable land.
Safer access around your property.
Space for a shed, a pool or some animals.

Every property is different, which is why we don’t believe in a one size fits all approach.

Some jobs call for our 200HP dedicated mulcher. Others are better suited to our 143HP mulcher, forestry excavator, or a combination of all three. Choosing the right machinery from the start helps us work more efficiently and get the best result for your property.

Whether you’re reclaiming an overgrown backyard, managing rural acreage or tackling dense vegetation, we’d love to show you the potential.

So… what’s possible on your property?

📩 Send us a few photos & your location, and let’s find out.

🐄 Keeping Leucaena Productive

Regular maintenance helps keep established Leucaena productive and easier to manage over the long term.

As rows become overgrown, routine maintenance becomes more time consuming and bringing them back under control can become a much larger job.

Every property is different, so we tailor our methodology to suit the row spacing, vegetation density and your long-term management objectives.

Key Facts:

• Purpose-built 200HP Lamtrac forestry mulcher
• Two-machine system tailored to the requirements of each property
• Operating speeds of up to 4-6km/h in suitable conditions
• Consistent cutting height up to 350mm and row presentation
• Advanced cooling systems for harsh Queensland conditions
• Minimal downtime
• Servicing Queensland & Northern NSW
