🌿 Exciting news from ID! 🌿

We've been working on something pretty special behind the scenes... but we are now excited to let you all know that we've opened the gates to our new venture — right here in Eltham!

Built by us, for our community, the new garden centre is a natural extension of our work transforming local outdoor spaces. The site itself holds a long history as a hub for the gardening and landscaping community (as Eltham Garden Supplies then Webster's Farm & Garden), and we’re proud to be able to continue that tradition into a new era.

Over the next month we are easing into things and will have new product ranges and services to roll out over coming weeks — but local delivery is already available, and our online store is live (pickup orders only for now).

We’re also thrilled to welcome Darren as our new Garden Centre Manager. With years of experience in garden supplies and irrigation, he’s here to ensure you get the right materials backed by expert advice.

We look forward to sharing this next chapter with you 🌱 Come and say g'day!

Get to know some of the talented landscaping team bringing our 2024 MIFGS vision to life!

Construction & Operations Manager Corey brings over two decades of hands-on experience in construction and landscaping. Corey’s attention detail and high standards ensures the quality of our work matches (or exceeds!) the client’s vision. Overseeing the day to-day operations of our diverse works-program and scheduling our growing team has unlocked his secret talent – pro juggler 🤹

Project Manager Tyler’s diverse skills and experience in events management mean he’s often found working behind the scenes. Tyler has a passion for reducing the environmental impact of landscaping and in his spare time is chipping away at post-grad botany & vegetation ecology studies 🌱

Senior Supervisor and all-round cheeky fella, Ollie brings decades of experience building high-end and bespoke gardens for some of Victoria’s most renowned designers. We welcomed him and his crew into the team in 2023 and haven’t looked back 😎

Sam is a creative and enthusiastic Site Supervisor and put his hand up to be the team’s OH&S rep. He loves a challenge and his flair extends into nifty sculptural bird baths, one of which is also at this year’s show – can you find it? 🦜

Another of our Supervisors, Aaron has embraced and risen to every challenge that we’ve have thrown his way. His organisation and leadership skills are valued and keep our projects running smoothly and on time. He has a great taste in music too – if you have heard of the bands he’s into 🤘

Dedicated third-year apprentices Ben and Lauchie have shown remarkable growth and quickly became invaluable members of our ID team. That dedication goes beyond work too, with both being local CFA volunteers committed to protecting their community.

We love teaming up with STEM and can’t wait to bring the Through the Looking Glass to life at MIFGS2024. Not long now until on-site construction begins ⏳

A bit of crazy paving, a seating area, and a whole lotta open space. The instant turf has established superbly and the exposed aggregate driveway blends seamlessly with the crushed granite toppings used throughout the paths. Looking forward to planting this one out and seeing it grow over the coming years!

Bad puns aside, the addition of the Australian-made to the team has been flippin' great!

Not only is it a hugely practical piece of gear, it is also helping us toward our goal for carbon neutral landscapes.
