Ever wondered what a coastal tourism retreat could look like in one of Australia’s most iconic landscapes? Eco-friendly structures surrounded by native landscape, with uninterrupted ocean views of Thistle Cove, Esperance, one of the country’s most remarkable beaches to visit.

Finding the perfect location is one thing. Building there while respecting what makes it special is another.

That’s where the WABi approach comes in. Our modular system allows more of the build to happen before arriving on site, while our Eco Anchor foundation system can reduce the need for conventional concrete footings and minimise disturbance to the ground below.

A glimpse into what it looks like once the project arrives on site.

One by one, completed modules are craned into position and the development starts taking shape.

It’s the part of modular construction that brings months of design, manufacture and coordination together in a matter of days. With more completed before arriving on site, installation becomes a planned sequence saving on-site time, reducing labour requirements and creating greater certainty around the overall project programme.

Another regional accommodation project is on the move, with our workers accommodation modules leaving the WABi yard and making their way north.

For large-scale regional projects, certainty starts well before anything reaches site. By completing more of the build in a controlled environment and coordinating logistics from the outset, we reduce the work required on site and create a more predictable pathway to delivery.

Modular does not mean identical boxes. As you can see at , each villa was built around one smart panel system and designed for its setting, then delivered up to three times faster than traditional construction, on a galvanised steel frame built to stand for decades.

18 units. Mount Anderson Station, 123km south-east of Derby, nearly 2,500km from our Fremantle workshop.

An on-Country diversion facility for Kimberley boys aged 14–17, Aboriginal-designed and led, with the buildings designed and installed by WABi in partnership with KRED Enterprises and Marlamanu.

Project highlight: Kailis Manor
Tucked right beside a lake in Western Australia, Kailis Manor is one of our favourite tourism projects to date. High ceilings and an open, airy layout make the most of the waterfront setting, while WABi's connectable components gave us the flexibility to create a two-bedroom holiday retreat that feels considered, not cookie-cutter.

A great example of what's possible when smarter building meets the right location, no earthworks, no long build times, just a beautiful tourist spot ready to welcome guests.

Projects evolve. Details change. Challenges get solved.
