One of the many services we offer at Apical is wildlife handling and fauna relocation! When you start a land development project that involves potential habitat of a protected species it's a good idea to have an experienced professional on site to ensure any present fauna is relocated unharmed.

One of our regular customers is the Eastern Long-Necked Turtle! These grouchy looking guys are often found in dams and rivers where they will happily bury themselves in the mud. Their long necks make them well suited for snatching water bugs and small fish as they swim by.

Apical recently assisted in de-watering a dam where we uncovered 10 of these turtles, all of which were safely relocated to local creeks and streams.

Turtles are a favourite animal to rescue among our employees, they are cute and fun to hold (although they should only be handled by a trained wildlife handler).
