Traxion Electrical is a family-owned business looking for the right person to join our team.

We're not looking to fill a position—we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys the trade, takes pride in their workmanship and wants to be part of a business where quality still comes first.

Our work is a mix of domestic, rural and industrial electrical, so no two days are the same. You'll need to be able to think on your feet, solve problems, work independently when required and work well alongside the rest of the team. Air conditioning and solar experience is an advantage but not essential.

This isn't a job for everyone.

Living and working in rural Queensland means early starts, dusty roads, the occasional snake and getting stuck in when the job calls for it. But it also means open spaces, a great community, weekends outdoors and a lifestyle that's hard to beat. ⚡ Power Tripping in Hot Weather?

Hot days put extra strain on electrical systems — especially when air-cons are running flat out.
If your power trips:
• Turn off appliances
• Reset the switch once
• If it trips again, leave it off
• Don’t keep resetting it — there’s usually a reason

To reduce the load during extreme heat:
• Switch off unnecessary appliances
• Avoid running multiple high-power items at once
• Cool only the rooms you’re using
• Close curtains and blinds to block heat
• Use fans to help circulate cool air
• Stagger appliance use where possible

Heat + overload is a common cause in summer.

If your power goes out and you’re a little concerned, give us a call and we can talk you through.

Staying safe — and reducing demand — is always better than forcing the power back on.
