More mulch progress with the mostly tas native section of the Ogilvie St garden. Stingy gum bark much holding well on the fairly steep bank…even on top of the cardboard for suppressing w**ds. Added some more dianella tasmanica as well.

Now you see it, now you don’t. A very large and w**dy mirror bush taken out. Mirror bush can be quite invasive, especially in coastal areas …this one was in the Kingston beach area.

Tilyard Street. This maple had to be moved because it was stunted in growth where it was. Replanted with worm castings and seasol and a generous soaking in. I’ll give it some epsom salts in spring and post more photos of the results.

If you need a hand with your garden, message me for friendly, conscientious service. I’m happy to give you an hourly, daily or half day rate. I can help with general garden maintenance from simply mowing, line-trimming and tidying, to pruning, hedging, lawn-care and landscaping. Green-waste removal and mulch/soil/sand delivery is also available. I have experience with food gardens and have a particular interest in garden design with Tasmanian native plants.
