We were proud to support the Building and Construction Foundation last weekend and even prouder to be showcased alongside our talented carpentry apprentice, Jenny, who is hosted to our valued partner Spective Group. Seeing Jenny recognised on such a stage is a reminder of what’s possible when industry partners genuinely invest in people.

Our partnership with the Building & Construction Foundation continues to strengthen the impact we’re creating together. Their commitment to opening doors for women and under‑represented workers aligns with our mission to provide meaningful pathways into the industry. With Sheforce - WOMEN in building & construction wraparound support and their industry leadership, we’re helping more women enter, stay, and thrive in construction.

We also want to acknowledge our partnership with Incolink Women in Construction Program. Their role in supporting worker wellbeing across the sector is vital, and we deeply value the way they champion safer, healthier workplaces. Together, we’re contributing to a stronger, more inclusive industry.

It was wonderful to have several of our valued partners attend the gala with us and a powerful reminder that when we stand together with purpose, we create real and lasting change for the future of building and construction.

We’re recruiting Painting (Steel) Apprentices for our host employers on major projects across Metro Melbourne.

This opportunity directly supports the goals of Victoria’s Building Equality Policy, helping increase the participation of women in construction and onsite roles.

As a GTO, Sheforce specialises in supporting women to thrive onsite through dedicated mentoring, regular check ins, and practical guidance throughout the apprenticeship. Our focus is on creating safe, supported, and sustainable entry pathways into the trades.

We’re seeking candidates with a Cert II in Building & Construction or onsite labouring experience, a driver’s licence, reliable car, and a positive, willing to learn attitude.

Today we celebrated Tradie Bootcamp, delivered in partnership with and Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions - Apprenticeships Victoria (AV); a powerful example of what happens when industry comes together to back women in trades.

Hosted by John Graves from AV at we heard from Executive Director Janelle Arena on why programs like this are essential to increasing women’s participation and creating real pathways into apprenticeships.
