Timber stores carbon

Every timber building starts storing carbon long before construction begins.

As trees grow, they absorb carbon from the atmosphere and store it within their wood fibre. When used in buildings, that carbon remains locked away for the life of the building.

ATT Structural Steel Solutions

Once the detailing and planning are complete, it's time to see the project come to life.

For this project in Labrador, the steel was fabricated, carefully stencilled and labelled, and then loaded for delivery to site. This process helps ensure every component arrives organised and ready for installation, making things easier for builders on site.

Through our partnership with Metro Steel, we're helping bring structural steel and timber framing together as one coordinated solution. The goal is simple: make the building process easier through better planning, smoother deliveries, and improved coordination between trades, helping projects run more efficiently from start to finish.

Today we celebrate Peter Beverland. 👏

Peter has been part of the ATT family since 1978, and for more than 25 years, he has led the business as CEO.

Over the years, Peter has seen it all, the challenges, changes, highs and lows. Through it all, he has shown incredible commitment to ATT and the people who make it what it is today.

Yesterday, Peter, Tom Donohue and a few of our senior managers got together for a final lunch to reflect on the many great times and memories shared over the years. It was a chance to look back on the journey, including the early days when Australian Timber & Trusses was known as Tom’s Trusses.

We also want to recognise Peter’s wife and children, who have been by his side throughout the journey. Their love, support and encouragement have played a huge part in Peter’s career, and his achievements are something they can all be incredibly proud of. ❤️

Thank you, Peter, for nearly five decades of dedication, leadership and memories.

Our plantation forests continuously grow, supplying the structural timber needed to frame an average home every 150 seconds while supporting ongoing replanting and regeneration.

As Australia works to deliver the homes our growing population needs, the materials we choose matter. Building more housing also means thinking about how we build it – and choosing renewable, responsibly sourced materials that can support both our housing needs and a more sustainable built environment.

🎉 Friday Farewell for Peter & Robbo 🎉

Last Friday, we finished up early and headed to the Hinterland for drinks and nibbles to celebrate Peter and Robbo and their incredible service to ATT.

With more than 40 years of service each, both have played a huge role in the business and made a lasting impact on everyone they've worked with. It was great to share stories, reflect on their achievements, and have some of our valued clients stop by to say goodbye and thank them for their years of support.

On behalf of everyone at ATT, we'd like to express our sincere gratitude for your dedication and loyalty. You will both be greatly missed, but we're excited to see what the next chapter holds for each of you.

Another great project taking shape. 🏗️

Some amazing drone shots showcasing the Sherlock Homes development really starting to come to life.

It's great to see the progress being made across the site, with a number of homes nearing completion and the next stage of construction already underway. You can also spot ATT roof trusses and wall frames throughout the development, helping bring each stage of the project together.

We're proud to be supporting the team at Sherlock Homes and look forward to watching this development continue to grow.
