As Owner & Director of Excel Turf Civil, I have over 30 years experience in the Turf industry. I commenced my career working on Golf Courses as an Apprentice Green Keeper and since then have worked across a wide range of sporting fields and climates. From the heat in Far North Queensland to Canberra's icy winters, I am well aware of the impacts varying climates can have on sporting surfaces. Havin

Finished autumn renovations apply seed to the Gundagai Adelong race track. After completing are few small jobs locally. Follow up photos of works completed earlier for Yass council and the Marrar FNC.

Autumn Reno season has continued strong Albury Tigers ground seed & sand, it’s looking a treat (nice Troy). Scarified, top dressed 4ha & seeded 5ha in Yass, scarify and seed at Marrar and Wagga, spread 100T in Queanbeyan, scarified 2ha in Holbrook, then seeded Phillip oval Canberra. I will be looking for a rest soon. 👍 forgot the sneaky trip to the SCG to watch some footy 😉

Autumn renovations 26. Scarified 7ha, seeded 10ha, by the end of the week will have spread 350 Ton of sand. From Albury to Harden,Young, Boorowa, Tumut, Wagga, Braidwood, Bungendore and Yass so, far getting it done. 💪

Ok we are handing this one back next Monday, check out the finish after the first cut at 15mm. What a great experience. From spraying out the old rye field to presenting are new Santa Ana couch surface. Very happy with the results. 💪

Another busy few days laying 4250m2 Santa Anna at a school in Holder ACT. Now to get in plenty of water before the heat this weekend.

Applied 200T sand with my Dakota 414 (great machine). Ran a level bar over after, bit wet day after but already see more green. Drag mat today, amazing how quickly the Santa Ana couch recovers 👌

Now move onto a scarify in two directions to start bring it down to prepare for a heavy top dress. Took out a lot. 💪 finished with the flail blades on the Amazone to mow/level. Follow by 400kg of origin fertiliser. 🤙
