This backyard had water falling back toward the house and causing problems during heavy rain.
We dug the yard up and reworked the levels so the fall now runs toward the retaining wall and into a new pit. The rest of the area was shaped into a slight spoon drain that directs water into the existing pits.
Once the drainage was sorted, we removed all the excess soil that wasn't needed, brought in fresh top soil and left the area ready for grass again.
A tidy little job that should make a big difference when the wet weather rolls around.

We hired in a posi-track to remove and stockpile the old construction-phase dirt, then brought in over 80 cubic metres of fresh topsoil. Everything was carefully spread and levelled with the correct fall to make sure water drains properly and doesn’t sit in one spot.
Site is now prepped and ready for turf! 🌱🚜

Work underway at this front yard renovation! 🚜
We’ve completed the excavation and prep work for the new retaining walls and top soil installation, ready for the landscaping to come.

We also excavated and prepped the area ready for a brand-new concrete driveway. Looking forward to seeing the final result take shape! 💪

Big progress on this tight access job 💪
We’ve been carefully digging our way into an existing wall to widen the area and make room for a retaining wall. Not the easiest task with limited space, but that’s where the challenge is!
Footings are now fully excavated, including a stepped-down footing to suit the site levels.
We also had Chris from I dig 4 you, help out on the last day. removing the dirt from behind us, as we dug the footings.
