Another tidy job - cleaning out and enlarging this dam for a local cattle farmer! 🚜

We used a dozer to push the heavy mud over to the excavator, then relined the walls with fresh clay and track-packed it in tight. This method locks the water in so it stays full all summer long! 🌞

Need to hold more water on your property? Call Davmech on 0428 614 500 or 9761 4500 - to enquire and book in before next winter.

Hillside Driveway Transformation! 🚜💨

Check out this project we wrapped up last year on a steep hillside!

The goal was all about widening the track and making sure water wouldn't wash it away.

Here is how we got it done:

• Widened the road: Cut back the top batter to gain material and open up the lane.
• Smart drainage: Installed a catch drain above the road, plus sub-surface pipes and headwalls to safely divert water down the hill and prevent washouts.
• The finish: Sheeted the entire track with 100mm of gravel, watered it, and rolled it tight for that absolutely schmicko finish.

Built to look sharp and built to last. Drop a comment, message or call us on 9761 4500, if your property needs some earthworks sorted before the next wet season! 🔨⛈️
