Lavercombe Grader Services (LGS) is a locally owned and operated small Civil Construction and Maintenance Company that was established in 2000. We specialise in civil construction, maintenance works and often do smaller private projects but have a wide range of skills including road construction, all concrete and protection works, storm water drainage and all associated road construction requireme
nts including sub-divisions. Whenever we have a project we strive to ensure that it is completed with quality assurance, within the specified timeframe and can guarantee that the job will be done right the first time which will reduce maintenance costs for any project. LGS has been involved in many projects in the Northern Territory for the Northern Territory Government, Local Councils and Private Enterprise ranging from $50,000.00 up to $1,000,000.00. We have implemented an integrated management system that includes a Quality Management System (AS/NZ ISO9001), Environmental Management System (AS/NZS ISO14001) and a Work Health and Safety Management System (AS4801). Local industry is enhanced as we are a CAL accredited company and only use local sub-contractors and source local suppliers, we are loyal to our sub-contractors and suppliers which has developed into a good working relationship to ensure we get quality products and service. We are also a member of Civil Contractors Federation Northern Territory (CCFNT) which gives us a great opportunity to network and gain access to further experience and knowledge and grow as a small business. • Surveying – Identifying current and future drainage/level problems while on a project
• Large Scale Clearing- Fire breaks, fence lines
• Road Formation – Lifting and shaping of unsealed and sealed roads, rural driveways
• Drain Formation – Table Drains, Offlet Drains, General Drainage,
• Stormwater Drainage- Underground drainage systems
• Protection Works – Reno Mattress’, Gabion Baskets, Grouted Stone Pitching
• Concrete Works – Reinforced Concrete Box Culverts, Reinforced Concrete Pipes, associated headwalls, concrete
margins, aprons, House Pads
• Grassing – Batter protections, Jute mesh, General Grassing over large areas
• All sub-division requirements
• Associated Road Construction Requirements including:
• Road Furniture – Line Marking, Traffic Control Devices
• Electrical Works – Overhead Transmission Lines and Underground
• Traffic Management (if required)
• Project Management and Supervision
• Sealing Works – Spray Sealing, Asphalt, Priming
