Today i realised that we have passed our 10 year in the business. 🎉🍾🙌
It has been a hard road to get here but I really can’t believe how far we have made it. Especially how much boss W***y has come. I feel this marks an appreciation post

W***y has worked himself to the bone all these years to get to this point.
W***y is highly skilled he’s been in the operating seat of machinery since he was a young kid. Natural skill and his visionary thinking and his desire for perfection is his standout qualities.

Often we have to pinch ourselves how we have what we always wanted and others we recognise that we only just made it by the skin of our teeth.

We have made it this far with the addition of
3 tiny humans 👦🏼6,👧🏻4 &👦🏼2
Wills Diagnosis of type 1 diabetes and learning to manage his sugars as-well as operating machinery safely
Dealing with life’s great days, the life changing moments the lows the blows and the struggles we continue to keep pushing on when you know you can’t go back and sometimes stuck at a standstill
But through it all we know how much life moments are worth and how tough you have to be to make it through these days.

He started this business with just W***y & I (Abi)
A tiny 5T excavator and very minimal and local work and now a 14T excavator and a bulldozer a reliable truck perfectly fit for us and a book full of customers/friends and with that we currently are on the biggest job we have ever been given the chance to have with the NSW RFS building fire breaks for planned hazard reduction burns later in the year and we are forever grateful for this opportunity.

We can do up to 3” poly pipe
It has a massive impact on time restraints and long distances!

After a lot of thought and consideration, we’ve decided to update our business name to W***ys Contracting & Earthmoving.

We felt this name better reflects the full range of work we do, our experience, and the skills we bring to every job. While the name has changed, our commitment to quality work, reliability, and supporting our customers remains exactly the same.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far — we’re excited for this next chapter and look forward to continuing to provide professional earthmoving and contracting services under our new name, W***ys Contracting & Earthmoving.

It has been a busy 2 days for W***y as he ventured off to Boorowa again to repair the walls in 2 dams and correct the spillways. Although on the second day he found himself in a pickle when he sunk through a very random soft spot and the digger had to be brought out to help her sister out. Then after a tedious hydraulic hose repair he was able to finish the dam just before a heavy storm hit and we escaped while we could so I was unable to grab a finish photo but as you can see he did yet another very affordable and excellent job! 👌
