Removed the front opening of a house and refitted new louvres and front entry. This will help to get rid of the hot air and no more up keep of timber. The louvres are operated with a map rod. We reused the owners existing door and built our frame to suit.

Doing heaps of Matt black showers at the moment

Swapped out 4 corner windows today with sliding windows and clear glass. Aluminium corner flashing to neaten the front corner. 316 grade stainless steel screen to keep the bugs and robbers out. The owner who lives close to a main road was impressed how much noise has been cut down, even using standard glass. They also liked that there was no painting to do with the corner flashing.

This is a video of the awning windows at Dayboro operating. It opens to 300mm but in this video I show it opening and then closing. They are great to vent sloped roof voids
