Danielle Wiessner is a Contemporary Australian Textile Designer. The ‘Liquid SILK’ collection is a series of hand painted Abstract Landscapes transformed into 100% silk scarfs. Inspired by the cycles of nature, landscape and synesthesia, the scarfs evoke a ‘sense’ of and ‘impression’ of Country. She paints with the iconic Australian Banksia and also uses photography, sound, colour and memory to vi

sualise the Bondi Surf, Bushfires, Rivers, and iconic symbols of the Sydney seasons like the ‘Jacaranda’. The unique original artworks are individually handcrafted and then digitally printed using high tech and sustainable eco-friendly inks.
