No jobs never to hard to travel to , this was Line Vision Australia in August tackling the Mighty Gibb River Road then turning right onto the Kalumburu Road tackling one of the most remote runways Australia wide

Keeping Kalumburu connected ✈️

For Kalumburu, the local airstrip is more than a runway. It provides access to healthcare, emergency services, supplies and regular passenger flights, helping people stay connected to essential services while continuing to live on Country, close to family, culture and community. 🛬🌅

Upgrade works have now been completed through the State Government's Aboriginal Community Airstrip Renewal Program.
Delivered by Main Roads WA, the project included repairs and resurfacing of the runway, taxiway and apron, along with drainage improvements to support safe and reliable operations for years to come. 👏

The project also created opportunities for local workers and businesses, with strong Aboriginal participation and involvement from Kimberley-based and Aboriginal-owned businesses. 👷🚧

Last month had Line Vision Australia travelling down the Mighty Gibb River Road and turning Right on the Kalumburu Road to Kalumburu, with a fresh reseal on the runway, taxiway and apron it was time for us to ice the cake. With plans in one hand and three kilometres of string in the other it was time to get some fresh lines down.
