When enjoying our two fantastic auto washes please follow the safety instructions and stay between the yellow rails. If you donโ€™t or are outside these rails then damage to your car or our machine can result.

This also can cause the wash to stop working or not work as well as it should.

If the machine stops please remain in your car and call the number. Driving off could damage your car and our machine further.

Safety switches, also known as RCDs, are indispensable, lifesaving devices that identify electrical faults and immediately disconnect power, typically within milliseconds, to prevent fatal electric shocks, fires, and severe injury. In contrast to circuit breakers, which solely protect wiring, safety switches safeguard individuals from faulty appliances, wiring, and accidents.
Why Safety Switches are Crucial
Prevent Electrocution: They detect minute current imbalances and halt electricity from passing through a person.
Prevent Electrical Fires: They identify faults that could lead to hazardous overheating.
Mandatory Protection: In Australia, they are legally required on all power and lighting circuits in new homes (since 1991/1992) and upon selling or leasing properties.
Comprehensive Coverage: It is highly recommended to have them on all circuits, including air conditioning, ovens, and pools, not just power points.

Key Takeaways for Homeowners
Check Your Switchboard: If your home still uses old fuses, it likely lacks this vital protection.
Test Regularly: Safety switches should be tested every 6 months to ensure they are functional.

Incase you missed it yesterday was a great opportunity for our apprentices to get noticed by Minister Andrew Giles.
With the whole crew on deck in conjunction with St Josephโ€™s Affordable Homes & Loretto Community Housing it was a great atmosphere where their voices got to be heard.

Next Phase Electrical are proud sponsors of Adam & Jess Burr who raced in the Formula 500 State Title in Hobart last nightโ€” tough field, no room for mistakes.
They made it to the final race, spinning twice and still getting back to 3rd at one point was solid driving.
Keep an eye out for these two at the next speedway at Carrick 6th & 7th March.
