Another successful remediation completed by SG Restorations

Water damage behind walls is rarely isolated to what you can see.
For this office, we removed lower section of plasterboard around the full perimeter to properly expose any affected areas.

We installed containment to isolate the workspace, then carried out a full clean of all exposed cavities in line with IICRC standards — including HEPA vacuuming and detailed antimicrobial treatment.
This ensures any hidden contamination is properly addressed, not just covered over.

The area has now been left clean, controlled, and ready for reinstatement.

Hidden mould like this doesn’t just sit still — it spreads.

This job involved removing contaminated chipboard and timber from a cavity where moisture had allowed mould to take hold.

We set up airtight containment around the affected area, removed all contaminated materials, and fully dried the space. An air scrubber was running throughout to control and capture airborne particles.

The mould spread has now been properly eradicated, leaving the area clean, dry, and safe — ready for new materials to go back in.

Recently completed job — this one was a subfloor

The subfloor was holding moisture with mould build-up throughout and no real airflow underneath the house. Over time, that’s what leads to ongoing damp issues and mould problems inside.

We carried out a full subfloor clean and installed ventilation to get proper airflow moving through the space.

The after photos show a much drier, cleaner subfloor along with the new ventilation system in place — set up to control moisture long term, not just temporarily fix it.
