**Business Operation Update**

Hey Fixed Fam,

As of the 28th of August 2023 we will not be taking on new customers.

After much deliberation Matt has accepted a job offer and will be transitioning back to full time work. We have had a fantastic couple of years filled with great customers (thank you very much!!) and lots of learning.

Fixed! will remain available/active to existing customers to look after any warranty issues that may arise and to complete scheduled services as required for some warranties. However we will not be taking on new installs or repairs from this point forward.

Our best point of contact will be via Facebook messenger, email ([email protected]) or leave us a voice mail if we don’t answer the phone and we will get back to you ASAP.

**June/July Business Break Dates**

**Christmas Opening Hours**

Hey Fixed! Fam,

Firstly a huge thank you to all of our supporters and customers in 2022! Reading the awesome reviews and hearing that we were recommended to new customers is by far the most rewarding thing about running our little business.

We wish everyone a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.

Regarding opening times, we will be available throughout Christmas and New Year period however we will be prioritising answering the phone less and spending time resting and with family more between the following dates;
- 23rd of December to the 26th of December
- 31st of December to the 2nd of January

The best point of contact between these dates is Facebook messenger or text (0455 229 637), we will still be available for breakdowns and emergency call outs - just leave us a message we will get back to you as soon as we can!

Earlier in the year this customer rang and told us a dog had damaged (by biting 🐶) the rear roller door at their investment property - genuinely didn’t believe them until I saw the damage 😂

We replaced the old, partially eaten 🙃 B and D Rollmasta with a new B and D Roll-a-Door in Colorbond Dune colour.

New door installed with timber fascias to stop the lock handle from hitting the top of the opening.

Merlin Commander Elite installed for a customer in Seabrook a few weeks ago.

We chose to use Merlin for this application due to the ability to turn the power head 90 degrees, giving us a little more rail travel on limited backroom installations. (We didn’t cut the plaster by the way!!) Merlin Commander Elite comes with 2 remotes, a wireless wall button and 7 years warranty.

Door was serviced and some minor repairs made to ensure it was in good running condition.

Hey Fixed! Fam,

Just a quick update to let everyone know we are now accepting card payments!

We have chosen to use Stripe for all eftpos payments due to their seamless integration into our job management software. Payments can be made on site via our software or remotely via a link sent directly to your phone. Either method requires you to put your card details into the secure software, so no paypass/tap and go facilities yet unfortunately!

There will be a 2% surcharge (as charged by stripe) on all stripe transactions

Hey Fixed! Fam,

We are closed this Saturday the 2nd April because we are going to World Time Attack Challenge in Sydney for the day. The phone might not be answered straight away but, as always if you leave us a message or send through a text we will get back to you as soon as possible.

The pictures of cables are from a recent job (before and after) we did in Caroline Springs, rectifying a previous sub standard repair, the hammer crimped, frayed cables were just one of the many issues we found with the door!

Automatic Technology Easy Roller V4 installed in Bacchus Marsh yesterday.

Unfortunately the original installer had used inadequate fixings for the type of brick so both door brackets were pulling out of the wall, this is especially dangerous on a manual roller door!

We reinstalled the door brackets with some angle bolted to the side to make sure we could get into fresh bricks with longer fixings. They’re not going anywhere now!

Have a look 👀 at this Friday evening callout in Bacchus Marsh.

Our customer had a bad time trying to fit a Bunnings motor to his roller door, when we arrived the door was completely out of the tracks and had no tension.

Tricky job for 1 persons with very tight side room, unable to take the RHS track off as fixing weren’t accessible and barely any room to tension the door but we got it all up and running as good as new and even made friends with a little Redback (I hate spiders!!).

More hot weather - more snapped springs!

Have a look 👀 at this job we did in Point Cook last week, the old springs were binding up due to lack of lubrication which can shorten the life of springs and puts a lot of extra force on the spring mounting bracket, this one has started to pull out of the wall!

Bracket reaffixed, springs and lifting cables replaced, another door Fixed!

Thanks to all of our amazing customers for a strong start to 2022! The hot weather has kept us busy with plenty of snapped springs and motor burnouts.
