WHY YOUR HOT WATER SUDDENLY STOPS WORKING OR BURNS YOU

Some older hot water systems rely on gravity—tanks are installed up high so hot water flows down naturally. But in many older apartments, this setup doesn't match well with modern high-pressure cold water systems. The result? Either no hot water at all, or dangerously hot water (70–80°C when you turn the tap to hot 🔥). This poses a real scalding risk, especially for families with young children.

We recently replaced one of these outdated systems with a Rinnai continuous flow unit. It's preset to a safe 50°C, compliant with Australian safety standards. No storage tank, no waiting, no temperature spikes—just safe, consistent hot water, whenever you need it.

It supports multiple outlets at once, so it’s perfect for big families—no more cold showers for the last person in line! 😅

On this job, we installed a new gas freestanding oven, but it wasn’t as straightforward as it normally is. The original gas connection was located behind the oven, which isn’t compliant with regulations. To ensure safety and compliance, we relocated the gas line to the adjacent cupboard.

This is a great example of why professional installation is essential—making sure everything is safe, functional, and up to code.
