An absolute privilege to be building this job for some amazing clients designed by the bestWhisker Architecture I’m alongside our sister company Function Fitouts stay tuned for update photos and the finished results!

We’re not the contract administrators on this project.
But we’re still here.

Our Ascot Vale renovation is currently under construction, built by the skilled team at Function Fitouts and project managed by MAC Consultants. A great builder. A trusted PM.

And still, we’re involved.

Because even with the best people in the room, questions come up.
Details need clarifying.
Background needs context.
And sometimes, a calm voice of logic can smooth over a potential issue before it becomes a real problem.

That’s why all of our Detailed service clients get 8 hours of support during procurement and construction, even when we’re not formally engaged for contract admin.

It’s not a lot. But it’s enough to:

- Keep the builder and client aligned
- Clarify decisions and intent
- Avoid costly misinterpretations
- Stay connected when things get stressful

We’re not slamming the door behind us after issuing the permit drawings.
We’re leaving it open just enough to keep the project, and the relationships, strong.

Because a good build deserves ongoing support, not silence.
