Commercial Fit-out | Friterie, Windsor

The hallway at Friterie does a lot of work for a narrow space. It takes customers alongside the counter through to the order point, while the leaner bench on the other side gives people a spot to stop for a quick bite.

In a space where people are ordering and eating side by side, the lighting has to suit both and keep the whole run feeling open from one end to the other.

Commercial Fit-out | Coffee Club, Ballarat

Across the dining areas at The Coffee Club Australia , an LED strip runs the full edge of the ceiling panel and follows it around the curve, with drum pendants hung in rows over the tables beneath.

The brick wall has its own light line set in along the top, washing down over the brickwork. Downlights around the perimeter fill in the light between the pendants.

Commercial Fit-out | Friterie, Windsor

The skylight over the dining room at .au does most of the work during the day, so the lighting had to sit underneath it rather than compete with it. The track runs carry the general light across the floor while the brass sconces wash up the wall behind the banquette and pick up the artwork.

Once the daylight drops away the room runs entirely on that layered scheme, and it is a different room in the evening.

Commercial Fit-out | Robin Hood Hotel, Ballarat

One thing we love about this fit-out is the caged pendants carrying through the dining room, bar and lounge. Hanging over the long table in the dining room, dropping low above the bar and sitting above the high tables in the lounge, the same fitting tying three different spaces together.

In the dining room they sit directly over the table so the light lands on the setting rather than washing the walls. An older building, and the fit-out has been worked around what was already there rather than laid over the top of it.

Commercial Fit-out | Kieser, Burleigh

Our team delivered the electrical package on the Kieser Australia fit-out in Burleigh.

A physio and rehab gym floor, wired through and open to members, with the lighting run the full length of the room.

Another Kieser site done and handed over.

Commercial Fit-out | Goldie's Tavern, South Brisbane

The bar at Goldie's Tavern, where our team delivered the electrical package for Insite Projects Australia.

It's the busiest part of a venue like this, and there's a fair bit of electrical packed into it. The lighting sets the mood, the overhead feature and the glow down the front and back bar, while the power behind the counter keeps everything running.

Taking a closer look at The Coffee Club Australia, starting with the lighting we delivered for Insite Projects Australia.

The feature wall carries the room, with the signage glow, the linear light wrapping the display and the pendants over the booths all wired in as part of the electrical package. In a cafe fit-out the lighting does a lot of the work in setting the space, so it is worth getting right.
