Busy trying to do my tax and the phone rings - pause. Crackle crackle. Hello this is Michelle, do you have a dog under 9 years old? I reply "do you"? " I beg your pardon". " do you have a dog"? " yes". "What's his name I ask". Michelle then tells me she has a German shepherd. Where are you from Michelle? The Phillipines or India? "Actually I am from India". I ask her where abouts and the conversation continues. "Are you an Australind resident? No I'm from Margaret river. " I'm sorry are you from New Zealand? ". Eventually I realise that Michelle is asking if I am an Australian resident.
So for once I didn't hang up but had a humourous exchange with the call centre lady. She didn't make a sale and I wasted a few minutes
local business works best with locals who understand and just get the job done, don't you think?

Met a great bunch of guys on an a building site in Bunbury. My daughter help set up the fencing- date with my wife tonight. Over all a great day!
