A second chance for these beauties.
We're proud to have recently completed the installation of these relocated grasstrees at Jarrahdale Heritage Park for the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale.
These trees were carefully recovered during construction of the Gooralong Carpark near Kitty's Gorge Trailhead and spent the past 12 months in our specialist nursery, where they were cared for before being returned to the landscape.
Now settled into their new home, they'll become part of the future landscaping of Heritage Park, helping retain the natural character of this much-loved community space for years to come.
Projects like this show what's possible when preservation is considered early in the development process. With the right planning, expertise and ongoing care, mature native plants can continue their journey in a new location rather than being lost.
A big thank you to the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale for their commitment to preserving these iconic native species 💚
