✅ The type of system you choose - tank size and brand (and is this suitable for your home and your needs)
✅ Your existing plumbing system and set-up - often this requires modification as the existing system has not been installed correctly
✅ Access to the work area where the hot water system must be installed - is it simple and easy? or are there access issues such as stairs or confied spaces?
✅ Inclusions - does the installation include all the new valves required to maintain the tank warranty? Does it include a new base if required? Does it include removal of the old tank? Does it include the compliance paperwork and certification? Does it include an electrician to wire it up?
✅ The level of professionalism of the team you choose - years in business, reviews, communication, reliability, skill, care, customer experience
✅ The quality of the installation - is it compliant? Is it neat? Is it a full installation in accordance with the tank manufacturers recommendations? (if it's not it will void your warranty)
✅ Peace of mind - to what extent is the installer insured? How long have they need in business? What do their reviews say about them? Do they offer an extended warranty?
All of these things will change the level of investment you make wen you install your new electric hot water system.
