Travertine is a type of limestone! A sedimentary rock formed typically in natural freshwater springs. The more ancient the travertine the more dense (less porous) it is. Characterized by its open pores, often containing calcite crystals it’s both beautiful and hard wearing. A good non slip factor, not too reflective when honed and soft on the eyes. It’s no wonder its such a popular pool coping, surround and even interior option. Stone supplied by . Also how did we go so long without 🤷🏻♂️
