It’s the end of an era today due to the privatisation of “Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) - Facilities Services”.
The Olson name has had many years association with this department that dates back to the 1960’s! My Grandpa Peter, my Dad Rex and his brothers all worked for this Dept. I followed the family tradition and started my electrical apprenticeship there in 1994.
There have been many a name change over the years, including Architects in Chief Dept., Public Buildings Dept. (PBD), Dept. for Housing and Construction (SACON) and may more!
Many friendships and working relationships have been made over my 27 year journey, and I have been fortunate to travel all over the state carrying out works for this Department.

Adelaide Commercial Electrical thanks everyone in DIT for their support over the years and ACE looks forward to the new road ahead!

Hopefully not needed but this is a 250kva generator delivered to site for back up power . This can supply approximately 350 amps/3 phase. 5 tonnes and holds approx. 950 litres of diesel!⛽️💡
