Defined by a unique yet timeless facade that still feels just as relevant today, Chamberlain is wrapped in a bronze screening system designed to conceal openings while allowing filtered light, ventilation & privacy, creating a refined, sculptural exterior that gradually unfolds as the home is experienced.

Opening onto one of several north-facing courtyards, the master draws in natural light and supports passive cross ventilation, maintaining a strong connection to the outdoors without compromising privacy.

The master ensuite at Mary St. is conceived as a seamless extension of the master suite, continuing a softly colour-drenched palette of blues & greens that feels calm, cohesive & grounded in natural materials.

A quartzite slab defines the space — forming the vanity, splashback, seating & niches — paired with a refined blue mosaic & large-format neutral tiles that allow the stone to remain the hero.

Mary St.

The brief called for a home that would sit comfortably within its streetscape - never demanding attention, yet quietly intriguing. The material palette was deliberately restrained, drawing references directly from the surrounding neighbourhood — the recycled red face brick characteristic of the area’s post-war homes, the crisp white render of its newer contemporary buildings, and a considered use of timber that bridged exterior and interior while softening and screening the front facade.
